Effective June 1, 2020, Fr. Justin Freeman, O de M, has been appointed to serve as Catholic Chaplain of MetroHealth Medical Center with residence at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
Because the COVID-19 pandemic has forced MetroHealth and other facilities to strictly adhere to policies impacting the work of parish priests, Father Justin is a true blessing to our area. He will make every effort to visit any Catholic who is admitted to Metro as well as assist parishes for Anointing of the Sick and other vital pastoral services. We thank him, his superiors in the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, and the Diocese of Cleveland for assigning him to this ministry in our area.
