Easter is the season of new life, of resurrection. We see signs of new life bursting forth all around us this spring. As our gift to this neighborhood, let us work to make way for the new flowers and grasses sprouting up and renew our land and protect our waterways.
Share an hour or so of your time to pick up trash and recyclables on Saturday, May 20. Meet at 10am in the parking lot behind St Malachi Church, 2459 Washington Ave (W 25th and Detroit). We gather outside for a short prayer, then pick up trash and recyclables on neighborhood streets, and close in prayer at 11:30. Volunteers can choose a specific area to work in pairs, alone, or in small groups.
