The Charity of the Month for September is the residents of Franklin Plaza.
Franklin Plaza serves members of the Ohio City community by providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, skilled nursing, hospice care, and respite care. The facility has capacity for 178 residents and offers a skilled rehabilitation unit with private suites, a welcoming resident activity center with a library and computers, and a secured dementia unit. Many of Franklin Plaza’s staff members have been employed for over ten years and take great pride in the care that they provide.
They have requested Men’s and Women’s:
- Shampoo
- Body wash
- Razors
- Shaving cream
- Anti-perspirant stick
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Assorted white underwear
Please take note, if you are writing a check make a financial donation, please make the check out to St. Patrick Parish, with Franklin Plaza residents on the memo line. Our actual charitable support is intended for the residents of that facility, not the for-profit organization Franklin Plaza, LLC. All check and cash donations will be collected by the parish and the total amount of raised funds will be used to purchase items for the residents of the home. Any checks made out directly to Franklin Plaza will be returned to the checking account owner with an explanation for the return.
