L’Arche Cleveland (Our June Charity of the Month) is currently in critical need of volunteers and direct care support as they head into 2023. As with so many other organizations, L’Arche has suffered tremendously since the pandemic. They are asking our friends to help as their staffing levels are at an all-time low. If at any point you’ve been drawn toward their mission and are curious about how you can make a meaningful impact, we ask that you consider committing some of your time to their inclusive community today. Here are a few ways you can support their work:
- Make or bring dinner one evening a month for a home
- Purchase dinner for a home and have it delivered
- Take a Core Member out to a movie, coffee, or dinner one day a month
- Take a Core Member to church one Sunday a month
- Visit a home and spend time with our Core Members playing a board, card, or video game
