Lenten Journey

St. Patrick and St. Malachi parishes are invited to “Journey through Lent as Beloved Disciples.” Organized by our seminarian intern, Max Giorgi, the Journey will begin with a presentation on February 23rd from 6:30-8.30pm at St. Patrick’s Lower Hall. It will focus on the Beloved Disciple, a prominent character in John’s Gospel, and it will have a focus on the Disciple’s role in the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus. Our presenter will be Sr. Lisa Marie Belz, OSU, who is widely renowned for her talks on Scripture, Early Christianity, and Christian Spirituality. She also served on the Diocese’s mission in Latin America, and teaches at St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology. Please bring a Bible to this presentation. Interested parishioners will then be able to explore all 4 Passion and Resurrection narratives by registering for one of 4 small groups that will meet weekly throughout Lent, and use “Little Rock Scripture Study”. Details for the small groups can be found HERE. Please contact christy.bartley@stpatrickbridge.org or call St. Patrick rectory (216- 631-6872) to register for a group.
