The Annual Cleveland Marathon is Sunday, May 21, and the route will severely impact Saint Patrick Parish on Bridge Avenue and the surrounding area. (CLICK HERE for route map.) Because of the large number of runners, along with the parking prohibition for that day on surrounding streets, anyone driving to the parish will find it very difficult, if not impossible, to navigate all morning, especially for the first few hours of the race.
For this reason, Saint Patrick Parish (Bridge Avenue) will be cancelling the 8:30am Mass on Sunday, May 21. We will celebrate the 11:00am Mass although we anticipate a much smaller crowd, and warn that it may be difficult to drive and park here. Please consider joining us for the 4:30pm Saturday Vigil Mass on May 20. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we are grateful for your kind understanding.
