Month of Remembrance

Dear Parishioners,

Thank you to all who made our closing liturgy of the 170th Anniversary celebration a big success last Sunday as we welcomed Bishop Michael Woost.  From liturgical ministers to those who provided hospitality, we are grateful!  May the Lord bless us as we give thanks to what was and as we say “yes!” to what shall be for our future.

As we turn to this month of November, let us prayerfully remember our deceased sisters and brothers who have gone before us.  Please remember them in your daily prayers as we call them to mind and heart throughout the month.  Please feel welcome to place a photo of your loved ones on our Mary and Joseph altars.  Remember to place your name and contact number on the back so we can make sure every photo is returned at the end of November.  May all the souls of the Faithful Departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

I also take this opportunity to assure every one of my personal prayers as I am joined by others for our pilgrimage to Fatima, Lourdes, and Spain November 7-17.  We will be offering Mass throughout the pilgrimage, along with various devotional prayers, as we visit the sacred sites.

Prayerfully yours in Christ,

 Fr. Gurnick
