With the heat we are expecting on Wednesday, we have moved the Radical Hospitality workshop to the Hall at St. Malachi where there is air conditioning. We will begin with dinner at 6:00pm. Please call St. Pat’s office if you have questions (216-631-6872).
St. Pat’s has long been known for how we embrace the charism of hospitality. Now is an opportunity to connect this gift with every aspect of our parish life! We want to develop it in each of us and for every parishioner, collaborator, and visitor.
Jane Angha, a consultant from Vibrant Faith, has been leading prayerful discussions with representatives of St. Pat’s and St. Malachi’s (the Cleveland Cohort of the Thriving Congregations effort) for over a year. Jane has led over 200 parishes in enhancing and enriching their hospitality efforts. We are blessed that she is coming on June 22nd to help us vision and plan how we can do this well into the future on the near west side of Cleveland.
We will be praying and discussing how we might use the grand from the Lilly Foundation to enhance our efforts to help others feel at home in the church and grow closer to God.
