RCIA and the rite of continuing conversion

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process for people interested in learning about the Catholic faith and discerning if this is the right time for them to become members of the Catholic Church. Lent is a special time to discern this commitment. It is also a time of special rites, ceremonies to enhance this process. One of these rites is the Rite of Continuing Conversion which is celebrated with those people in RCIA who are baptized non-Catholics. Special prayers will be said for them and they will be given a copy of both the Nicene and Apostles Creed. This Rite will take place on Sunday, Feb. 21, here at St. Patrick Parish.
Please keep the RCIA community in your prayers as we proceed toward reception of the sacraments at Easter.
