As Catholics we are called to respond to the challenges of the world around us—a global pandemic, racism, political division, the taking of innocent life at all stages. At the heart of our response is a life of prayer which then leads to fruitful action.
Saint Patrick Parish invites you and your family to join us for an afternoon of Prayer for Peace in the presence of our Eucharistic Lord. On Sunday, August 2, Eucharistic adoration will take place in the church immediately after the 11:30am Mass until 6:30pm.
Bring your Bible (or another favorite spiritual book) and spend some time as we join together and pray for peace and justice. A priest will be available throughout the afternoon for the Sacrament of Penance.
- 1:00pm Litany of Justice and Peace (based on our Catholic social teachings)
- 3:00pm Special Chaplet of Divine Mercy (in atonement for the sins of racism and other forms of bigotry)
- 5:00pm Rosary for all Life (from the womb until natural death)
- 6:00pm Benediction
NOTE: Masks are required on parish property and social distancing must be observed.
