In his most recent encyclical, released on Oct. 3, Pope Francis says, “Digital connectivity is not enough to build bridges. It is not capable of uniting humanity.”
Which is true, of course, but our book discussion group is trying to make do with digital connectivity until the present health crisis passes and we can once again enjoy each other’s company in the rectory on first and third Tuesday afternoons. Will you join us via Zoom?
Right now we are reading this new encyclical, “Fratelli Tutti: On Fraternity & Social Friendship,” in which the pope addresses many challenges facing us as we engage in the work of loving our brothers and sisters within our own community and across the globe.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 1:30pm. Contact Pastoral Associate Kathy Wadowick at kathy.wadowick@stpatrickbridge.org or 216-631-6872 x2107, and she’ll send you the invitation to join the Zoom meeting.
Never used Zoom or participated in a virtual meeting? No problem. If you have a device that can access the internet, then we can guide you through how to get connected.
